Executive Director, Sydney
Campbell joined Gresham Partners in 2017 as an Executive Director in the Gresham Debt Solutions team in Sydney.
Campbell has over 13 years’ banking and advisory experience in the project finance sector, working across a broad range of sectors, including availability infrastructure, economic infrastructure, transport, utilities, resources and oil & gas sectors.
Recent notable transactions Campbell has worked on include ANU – supported InfraRed on its bid for the student accommodation portfolio ($500m); Port of Melbourne – supported IFM’s bid for the asset ($9bn); WA Schools PPP – lead arranger supporting Aberdeen ($200m); Puhoi to Warkworth (NZ) PPP – supported John Laing and InfraRed in their bid ($1bn); Perth Stadium PPP – MLA to the largest PPP undertaken in WA ($1bn); Queensland Motorways Limited – MLAU to Transurban acquisition ($7bn); NSW Ports – MLA in acquisition of Port Botany/Kembla ($5bn); NT Airports – MLA to Darwin and Alice Springs Airports debt facilities ($580m); Sydney Light Rail PPP – participation and secondary purchase ($2bn); Clem 7 Tunnel – MLA to QIC in acquisition of CCT from receiver ($600m); Northern Territory Secure Facilities PPP – MLA to the new correctional centre in Darwin ($650m); The new Royal Adelaide Hospital PPP – MLA to the largest hospital in Australia in ($3bn); Victorian Desalination Plant PPP – MLAU to the largest fully funded PPP completed ($6bn); Asciano - restructure and refinance out of Toll Holdings ($5bn).
Prior to joining Gresham, Campbell spent the last 10 years with National Australia Bank in the Infrastructure and Project Finance team, similarly at Lloyds/HBOS and in the Project Finance Advisory team at ABN AMRO. Prior to that, Campbell entered a cadetship program within Financial Services at KPMG.
Campbell holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of New South Wales, a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and is a Chartered Accountant.
